Dear friends, fellow gamers,
It’s that time of the year again. When it’s our birthday, we're two years old now, and we’ve been busy because look at what we did since last we spoke -
WE’RE NOT KIDS ANYMORE
Pushing 50 in our crew and going stronger, TTK has grown into a respectable crowd. While our Battlefield heritage is true and clear, we’re proud to say we’ve recruited talent from 21 different studios with titles like Destiny, Horizon, Forza, Fable, Killzone, the Finals, It Takes Two and Mirror’s Edge on their CV’s, to mention a few.
LOVELY JUNE
The world’s at its most magic when June comes to Sweden, and there was a particular spell cast over TTK when we had visitors who all came to see our game. If publisher pitches were a show, we could’ve sold tickets. And while we revealed our tricks to them, we can’t show you just yet. But we will. In time.
THEM GAME SHOWS
Lately, we went to them all (almost). GDC gave us a lot of affection when we courted the publishers and showed them our game. It grew from there and at Gamescom in August, we brought them something to play, too. It’s safe to say, feelings for the game were deeply mutual. We’re bursting to tell you too, but we can’t, not just yet, but soon.
DONNA DAY
We believe everyone with passion and skill has a place in gaming. That’s why we support DONNA and DONNA DAY - a network of game dev students and alumni who identify as female, trans and non-binary. Their mission is to make the Swedish game industry more inclusive. It’s an everybody wins-scenario as far as we’re concerned, and we contribute every year with mentorship and attendance. This year was no different, when four of us went to support the community. We came back re-energized and ready for those applications from our next level graduates.
To the skies and beyond, until our next update.
